Restaurant/Kitchen

Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, 7 days a week. Familiar, traditional American-fare menu: pancakes, omelets, soups, salads, burgers, steaks, pastas, etc. Nightly specials. In July & August, breakfast and lunch average 90 covers each, while dinner averages 200-250 covers. Menu prices at breakfast range from $6-11, lunch from $7-13, dinner from $10-26. Friendly, rustic atmosphere. Looks out on the lake. 

 

Kitchen Manager

Responsible for executing breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar, gazebo, catering, and crew menu offerings, ordering and maintaining inventory, food & labor costs, creating daily specials, and scheduling staff. Supervises and mentors staff of 10-15.

Requirements:
High-energy, positive attitude, hands-on leadership style, culinary degree or experience, kitchen management experience, excellent food preparation and presentation skills, ability to work well and lead under pressure, good communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service attitude, inventory management, food & labor cost, and menu development experience.

AM Sous Chef

Line, Prep, Pantry Cooks

Responsible for preparing menu food items.

Dishwashers

Responsible for washing dishes and some light maintenance and grounds work.

Requirements:

Dining Room Manager

Responsible for service in the restaurant and scheduling staff. Supervises staff of 10-15.

Server Assistants

Responsible for assisting servers by hosting, setting and bussing tables, and running food.

Full-service bar serving wine, beer, cocktails, and appetizers, 7 days a week. Friendly, rustic, fireplace atmosphere. Looks out on the lake.

 

Bar Manager

Front Desk

Takes lodging reservations. Checks guests in and out of rooms. Acts as communication hub for the resort. Open 7 days a week.

A gift shop/convenience store open 7 days a week. Sells souvenirs, t-shirts, sweatshirts, some groceries, beverages, camping and fishing supplies. Service station sells gas, propane, and snacks.

 

Store Manager

Responsible for store and service station inventory, cost of goods, and sales. Supervises staff of 4-6.

Marina

Rents paddleboats, kayaks, canoes, and outboard motorboats. Sells gas for motorboats. Provides shuttle transportation across the lake and lake tours. Open 7 days a week.

 

Marina Manager

Responsible for managing boat rentals and lake tours and shuttles and cost of goods. Supervises staff of 4-6.

Requirements:
High-energy, positive attitude, hands-on leadership style, marina management or related experience, boat driving and repair experience, small engine repair experience preferred, ability to work well under pressure, good communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service skills, cost of goods and labor cost experience.

Dock Crew

Responsible for renting boats to guests, driving lake shuttles, and performing lake tours.

Maintenance

Maintains, repairs, and improves the physical facilities, including light construction, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, metalwork, and landscaping. Physical facilities include 41 lodging units, restaurant, kitchen, employee housing, docks and boats, vehicles, and public showers and Laundromat.

 

Physical Facilities Manager

Responsible for managing the maintenance and upkeep of the physical facilities, including buildings, grounds, appliances, equipment, vehicles, and boats. Also responsible for providing firewood for cabins. Supervises staff of 1-2.

Requirements:
High-energy, positive attitude, hands-on leadership style, physical facility management experience, light construction, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, metalwork, and landscaping skills, ability to work well under pressure, good communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service skills.

Cleans guests cabins, rooms, and common areas of the Lodge. Washes and folds linens and towels for guest rooms and Lodge kitchen. 41 total guest lodging units.

Nanny

Responsible for acting as parent helper to the general manager's family, planning and supervising children's activities, and light housework.

Requirements:
High-energy, positive attitude, child care experience, first aid training preferred. Must enjoy and relate to children ranging in age from infant to pre-teen. Must be fun, gentle, and creative.
