Redfish Lake Lodge provides a unique and memorable setting for your special event. The information on this page will assist you in planning your event. We are happy to work with you to personalize your unique occasion.

Outdoor Catered Events

Outdoor events are for parties of 40 people or more. These outdoor events are subject to pricing dependent upon the type of event you book at Redfish Lake Lodge (RLL). Catering costs for food & alcohol typically range from $30 to $50 per person depending on your menu selections. Wedding receptions typically chose from the entree menu while casual events typically chose from the “casual affairs” menu. Catering Fees and Payment:

A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required within 10 days of booking to hold date for your scheduled event. This will be credited toward your final catering bill.

The site fee for wedding receptions is as follows:

$1,000 for weekends in June and September. (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

$750 for weekdays in June and September. (Monday thru Thursday)

$2000 for weekends in July and August. (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

$1500 for weekdays in July and August. (Monday thru Thursday)

The site fee for casual affairs (barbecues, family events, etc.) is as follows:

$500 for any Monday thru Thursday date

$750 for any Friday, Saturday or Sunday date

Events in June and September (after Labor Day)

Events in June and September (after Labor Day) may request advance reservations for 75% of available lodging (30 units). Please submit your request for specific lodging by email to

Prior to January 1st, events scheduled in July thru Labor Day weekend in September will have five (5) units available to secure for lodging, specified by request.  Other lodging can be reserved online or by phone in January, 2017, when we open reservations to the general public.

Special Event Labor Pricing:

$550 for 41 to 79 guest-count

$650 for 80 to 119 guest-count

$750 for 120 to 159 guest-count

$850 for 160 to 200 guest-count

$950 for 200 to 225 (maximum) guest-count

$3 per person set up fee: RLL provides plates, utensils, glasses, basic fabric table cloths, fabric napkins, disposable goods, utilities, setup & cleanup. These services are included in the $3 per person fee.

6% Idaho Sales Tax will be added to the final bill.

20% gratuity on food and alcohol will be added to the final bill.

RLL provides a tent, dance floor, tables & chairs for an additional rental fee. (see rental chart)

Guaranteed number of guests and final menu choices are required 14 days before your event.

Labor pricing will be charged based on this count, and your final bill will be calculated from this count.

Events in June and September may request advance reservations for 70-90% of lodging availability. Events in July and August may request advance reservations for 40-60% of lodging availability.

Pricing includes labor costs of chefs, servers, dishwashers, and event coordinator wages.

A “sample bill” can be emailed to you if you know approximate guest numbers, menu selections, and rough estimate of alchohol consumption. For many, this helps to see the costs involved.

The catering menu typically changes slightly from season to season.

Dining Room

The Lodge dining room can accommodate large parties up to 40 people. Reservations are requested for groups between 10-15 and required for groups over 15. Large parties may order off a special large party menu or arrange a specific menu for their group. For large parties (8 and over) there is a 20% gratuity added to the final bill.

To make a dining room reservation, in the summer months, please call directly to the Lodge, which begins Memorial Day weekend in May until the first week of October. Summer Phone: 208-774-3536. To reserve your event prior to summer, please call our winter office: (208) 644-9096. Your $250 deposit locks in your date and allows you to reserve a portion of lodging for your group. This $250 deposit is credited to your final bill in the restaurant.
